おなじみ80年代ドイツの実験?インダストリアルバンド Einsturzende Neubauten !!
本作は2005年にEinsturzende Neubautenのサポーターの為に限定でリリースされていた作品で、2018年に正式にpotomakから再発されました。
DVD (NTSC all-region)には、2004年11月3日にベルリンのPalast der Republikでサポーター向けプロジェクトPhase IIのための限定ライブを行った様子が録画されています。
LPには、フリーダウンロードコード、ポスター、歌詞（ドイツ語と英語）が初回リリースにはついてます。

Als Ergebnis der Phase 2 des Supporter Projektes 2002-2005, war GRUNDSTUCK als CD und DVD auch nur fur die damaligen Supporter erhaltlich. Dies ist nun die erste regulare, fur alle zugangliche Veroffentlichung, erstmalig auch auf Vinyl.
