'In 2020 Dressing (Ireland) and Standard Grey (Canada-Japan) did a project together called Grey Magik. This 2024 split brings them back together again. Dressing offers up a sound collage vibe venting fast movements, warbling static, and frequency shrieks with occasional looped melodies stopping by for a visit to ground the listener, while Standard Grey pulls us into the copse with slower-paced muffled field recordings, echoed bangs, carefully textured tape, and encircling drones … paying close attention to space and surroundings.
