'An ambient work created by recording and editing the internal sounds of a portable record player, centering on its motor noise, alongside hum, vibrations, and contact sounds captured by the cartridge.
Rather than viewing the record player as merely a device to play vinyl, it treats the turntable itself as a musical instrument, composing sounds generated from rotation, electricity, and vibration. Grounded in years of practicing cartridge music, this work invites the listener to experience the subtle presence of the machine that exists just before music happens.'
