「Elfde Mixerは、1993年のKapotte Muziek USAツアーから収録された音源をまとめたものです。両ミュージシャンは様々な音楽プロジェクトで豊富な経験を持ち、それゆえに制作手法も異なります。彼らの多才さは作品から明らかです。音の使い方、作曲上の選択、そして美的表現は、明確な決断と確信に基づいています。どちらの作品も、装飾的な要素を一切排除したミニマルな作品です。一方で、両作曲家はプロセスや音の使い方において全く正反対の選択を恐れることなく、自らの「コンセプト」を最も忠実に守っています。ミニマルと呼ぶには程遠く、むしろその逆と言えるでしょう。彼らは周囲のあらゆる可能性を探求し、独自の（そしてミニマルな！）世界を創造します。この世界は概して暗く、比較的空虚で、そして奇妙なものです。サウンドスケープ・ミュージックの特徴を共有していますが、私たちが耳にするのは一体何なのでしょうか？コンクリート・ミュージック、シンセサイザー・サウンド、それとも…？まさに、不可解で異質な独自の形態を持っています。焦点は、音の生々しい表情と相互作用にあります。要素間の繋がり。構成は明快で、積み重ねの忍耐強さ、カッティングの唐突さ、そして層とパーツ間の相互作用は繊細でありながら力強い。この場合、少ないことは間違いなく豊かさを意味する。」

Side A: In the course of the years, Kapotte Muziek has given several workshops for anyone interested in their way of working. An important part of these workshops was for the participants to make field recordings. These recordings are now part of Kapotte Muziek's archive and have been distributed to the participants. Many of these recordings are exceptionally well done, as far as recording technique is concerned, but also as raw material, needed for the presentation of workshops. Roel Meelkop has used this archive for the track {Workshop}, using most of the material in its raw state and only with minor editing. Thanks are due to all participants, Frans & Peter and Martijn.
Side B: All source material used in this recordings comes from the Kapotte Muziek USA tour of 1993. Kapotte Muziek were that time: Peter Duimelinks and Frans de Waard. Recorded and mixed in September 1993, slightly revised in 2002. Thanks are due to: Peter, Roel and Martijn.
