li weisi is a veteran in both indie rock and experimental music scenes in beijing. he is a member of rock band carsick cars, postpunk band snapline and the recent outbreak noise-doom-drone band ghostmass, while he experimenting obscure sound and radical forms in the duo soviet pop and his many solo projects.
this album is a key for listeners who would dive deeply into a timeless reality, which only forged and distilled by the implosion reality of today's beijing.

... The author is not important, the author does not exist, because the author's skill, experience, methods, techniques, memories, they do not exist at all. But people are really there, people are playing, busy, consuming energy, clanging, how do you say that? Is it because man is not equal to the author - or in this kind of improvisation, man can not be equal to author, there is only man here, there is no author, man is new, the author is not here. As soon as the author is present, experience and techniques follow, and man is driven away. People are not necessarily authors, but authors must be man, man is more important, utilitarian speaking, man is more "great". But at the same time, after all, man is a creature of time, and every last second will shape every next, which cannot be surpassed. Again, this is a complete contradiction to this kind of "improvisation": you should not fill the numbers with your experience and methods, which is like words, but you will definitely use it; You have to feel as much fear as possible, a fear of being helpless, don't practice beforehand, don't prepare, all you can call on is your own bodily instincts, and you're not even familiar with the "tools" you're using.
