「シシー・スペイセクは、サウンドとパフォーマンスへの幅広いアプローチで知られています。1999年に結成されたこのグループ（2013年以降はチャーリー・ママとジョン・ウィーズのデュオが中心）は、グラインドコアからミュージック・コンクレートまで、幅広い作品をリリースしてきました。その間には、かなりの実験性も持ち合わせています。香港のEmpty Galleryでのパフォーマンスとその周辺の記録は、バンドの抽象的なスタイルとアプローチの一例です。タケシ・ムラタによる「Infinite Doors」のオープニングを記念して録音されたこのアルバムは、エレクトロニクスとグラインドコアのマルチトラック・ライブセットを収録したもので、5日間のレジデンシー期間中に行われた様々なレコーディングの両端を飾っています。墓地のフィールドレコーディング、樽の擦れ音、即興ノイズコア、テープコラージュなどが組み合わされています。」
