CHRISTIAN MARCLAY : Graffiti Composition

NYの実験ターンテーブリスト / ヴィジュアル・アーティストのChristian Marclayの’96年 MoMaでのライブ・パフォーマンス作品。
ベルリンのフェスティバルの間中、5000枚以上の何も書いていない五線譜のポスターを町中に貼って、そこに落書きされたものをセレクトしElliott Sharpが中心となりMelvin Gibbs、Mary Halvorson、Lee Ranaldo、Vernon Reidらが演奏しています。
中ジャケに描かれている音符や落書きも面白いですが、やはりこんな事するマークレーが一番凄い !!
ギターの爆裂音やインプロ・サウンドも強力です。
もちろんおすすめ ^-^

The pieces performed are based on graffitis and various marks made by anonymous people on blank musical sheets of paper, plastered in the city of Berlin by Christian Marclay in 1996, as a commissioned work for the Sonambiente Festival.
